Why an Older Record Here Sits With West Singhbhum at Chaibasa
Saraikela Kharsawan was carved out of West Singhbhum district in 2001, taking in the areas of the two former princely states the district is named after. The boundary moved and the registers stayed, which is why a person born in Adityapur or Chandil in the 1990s has a West Singhbhum entry.

School, Board and Land Record Corrections in This District
A Jharkhand Academic Council certificate is corrected against the school's admission register, through the school rather than through you, escalated to the District Education Officer or District Superintendent of Education when a school will not forward the file.
